Things are Heating Up at Mohegan Sun
Situated on 400 acres in Plains, Pennsylvania, the action never stops at the state’s first and hottest casino, Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs. Nearly 80 tables will be added, including blackjack, roulette, craps, and poker, among others.But that’s not all. This year celebrates the 45th live harness racing season at Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs. Not only will the racetrack be home to the 2010 Breeders Crown, but there is an action-packed schedule for the full racing season which runs through November 13th. Guests can enjoy the action of live harness racing each Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday night at 6:30pm.Also this summer, Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs will be home once again to Hot Summer Fun. The festivities, which kicks off May 30th, will include Party on the Patio every Thursday, fireworks, food and retail specials, signature drink specials, promotions, giveaways, and a concert series held on the racetrack. Concerts will include Pat Benatar on June 27th, Bowzer’s Ultimate Doo-Wop Party on July 2nd, Huey Lewis and the News on July 16th, Randy Travis on August 20th and Foreigner on August 29th.
